Award-winning filmmaker to present flagship titles at popular convention

Los Angeles, CA, June 23, 2008 -Award-winning filmmaker Matt Pizzolo (“THREAT”) will be the featured guest at the Halo-8 Entertainment booth when the indie film studio debuts its new full-color comic book and graphic novel publishing division at Wizard World Chicago on June 26, 2008, it was announced today.

Pizzolo created and wrote both flagship titles for the new publisher starting with the post-nuke hero’s journey “GODKILLER,” illustrated by Anna Muckcracker, and the manga-style college sex comedy “HOW I LOST MY VIRGINITY –BY ALEXANDRA JONES,” penciled and colored by Andrea Blanco with inks by Ale Alvarez. HALO-8 CATCHES PINK EYE
- Indie distributor acquires worldwide rights to masked-villain gorefest -

Los Angeles, CA, June 12, 2008 - Halo-8 Entertainment has secured worldwide distribution rights to the masked-villain gorefest “PINK EYE,” a new horror film directed by James Tucker (”AUNT ROSE,” Lionsgate’s upcoming “SKINNED ALIVE”), written by Joshua Nelson (”AUNT ROSE,” Lionsgate’s upcoming “SKINNED ALIVE”), and starring Melissa Bacelar (”HOTEL CALIFORNIA,” “CITIZEN TOXIE,” Lionsgate’s upcoming “SKINNED ALIVE”), Bridget Megan Clark (”DEATH ON DEMAND,” Miramax’s upcoming “DOUBT”), and Joshua Nelson. Los Angeles, CA, June 9, 2008 - Halo-8 Entertainment has secured worldwide distribution rights to the stylish & surreal horror film “THE DEVIL’S MUSE” by Ramzi Abed (”THE TUNNEL”), starring Kristen Kerr (”INLAND EMPIRE,” “FLIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD”), Gidget Gein (MARILYN MANSON), Cinque Lee (”MYSTERY TRAIN,” “COFFEE & CIGARETTES”), Julie Strain (”HEAVY METAL 2000″), Lizzy Strain (”MAGUS”), and pinup superstar Masuimi Max. - Punk Cinema Label acquires rights to concert video of renowned punk event -

Los Angeles, CA, June 3, 2008 - Halo-8 Entertainment has secured North American distribution rights to the European smash hit music video “PUNK & DISORDERLY,” a dvd-set that compiles performances from the 2005 & 2006 editions of the world-renowned punk festival. Produced by Sunny Bastards and M.A.D. Tourbooking, the video runs 5+ hours and features live performances from over 90 bands including SHAM 69, The Business, Conflict, Anti-Nowhere League, The Boys, The Oppressed, and many many more.
